Hello hello.

I have a busy month ahead. Here's a list:

Jazz in the Theatre at WAAPA
Dialogues of the Carmelites Orchestra rehearsals
A whole day with the brass band, comprising of two gigs
A Force 12 (WAAPA Symphonic Band) gig at John Septimus Roe
Another Force 12 gig at a WAAPA free lunchtime concert
And the Melbourne International Festival of Brass

Even with this list, I'm still struggling to keep up with the times. It's rather annoying


I remember saying something about piss-whiney classical brass stuff, and then I mentioned something about the Black Dyke Brass Band. Last month they were in Perth to do two concerts, and I was literally blown away by the best brass band in the world. Heck, they were the best brass acts I've seen live, period. I hung out with the band after their first concert, and most of the members are from Yorkshire. They were nice people to hang out with, considering how TALENTED they are!
